“Bavarian Illuminati , an Enlightenment -era secret society founded on 1 May 1776. The society’s goals were to oppose superstition , obscurantism , religious influence over public life, and abuses of state power . “The order of the day,” they wrote in their general statutes, “is to put an end to the machinations of the purveyors of injustice, to control them without dominating them.” ”
I don’t know why the Illuminati would kill a scientist. I think they might kill a religious leader or politician, but not a scientist.

I attended a Stephen Hawking lecture once. A week before the talk, those with tickets were asked to submit questions; it took a week for him to create a response in his computer.
The selected question, out of hundreds is, “Is there a God, and why not?”
I asked a question about physics.
I’m definitely not bitter about it.
